Abstract EN

The research sought to study the patterns of information design technology and the impact of its interaction with levels of flow on the development of design thinking skills for interactive storytelling among students of educational technology and self-efficacy.

The research sample included a random sample of (60) students of educational technology students.

Dividing the research sample into four experimental groups (interactive microsites with a horizontal flow level / interactive microsites with a deep flow level / interactive information design with a horizontal flow level / interactive information design with a deep flow level).

Each experimental group consisted of (15) male and female students, and a test was designed to measure the cognitive achievement of design thinking skills for interactive storytelling, a note card for design thinking skills for interactive storytelling, an interactive story writing evaluation card, and a self-efficacy scale.

The research followed some of the necessary procedures to ensure a good educational design of the learning management system, and the results showed the effectiveness of information technology patterns on research variables in general at different levels of flow, and the extent to which members of the experimental group (B) were affected by the pattern of interactive microsites with a deep flow level, which appeared clearly in increasing Cognitive achievement and the development of interactive story writing skills, where the effect of the interactive mini sites style appeared on the acquisition of a quantity of information that clearly affected the performance skills of educational technology students, while the members of the experimental group (D) were affected by the interactive informational design pattern with the level of in-depth flow, which appeared clearly in Increasing the score of observation card design thinking skills for interactive storytelling, where the results confirmed the impact of the interactive information design style on the development of design thinking skills, and the research results showed an increase in the score of the self-efficacy scale for members of the experimental group (B) over the rest of the three experimental groups.

The other ones, in which the percentage of gaining the scores of the self efficacy scale was much lower than that of earning the scores of the efficiency scale The self of the experimental group (B).

The research also recommended the necessity of employing patterns of information design technology in general and the pattern of interactive microsites with a level of in-depth flow, especially in distance education; Because of their significant impact on increasing cognitive achievement, developing intellectual and performing skills, and increasing a sense of self-efficacy in various scientific sectors.
