Media translation is a difficult and complex process that conveys news, knowledge and information about events in politics, economy, art, science, and literature.

the media language communicates meaning to the audience through visual codes, audio codes, technical codes, and language.

in this article we focus on the linguistic aspect, which is of a specific nature.

since written media language uses different styles that combine words, scientific terms, and cultural elements and expressions.

the translation of some of these words and expressions to a different audience constitutes a real challenge to the translator; who needs specific skills in editing and paraphrasing, because the transfer of media contents requires an experienced translator who is able to combine the professions of translation and media.
