The mental health of the Algerian individual in light of the corona pandemic

Abstract EN

The current study aims at identifying the psychological and physical effects caused by the spread of Corona pandemic on the mental health of Algerian individual.

In order to achieve this purpose the descriptive analytical approach was employed as well as two methods of focus group and content analysis which were directed to different age groups (children, young people and the elderly).

It was relied upon the interview as a study tool.

The following results would be reached later: - There is a set of psychological effects that the Corona pandemic left on the mental health of the Algerian individual (children, young people and the elderly).

Those effects are represented by a group of psychological and physical symptoms.
