This article talks about the word "Gayr" in Arabic grammar, from both sides : morphological and syntactic.

and he tries to reclassify it again, by following a linguistic approach, describing and explaining the phenomenon.

the importance of the topic lies in the fact that it is a new topic that has not been studied before, and that it finds solutions to some of the different syntactic aspects.

the basic premise of the research is that “Gayr” is a letter and is not a noun or an adjective.

to prove this hypothesis, we presented “Gayr” to the concept of a noun and its characteristics, then to the concept of an adjective and its characteristics, then to the concept of a letter and its characteristics.

the research concluded that “Gayr” is one of the letters of meanings, which performs stylistic meanings in the structure.
