Given the dominance that many countries live in the world, at different levels due to the impact of the culture of globalization and its remnants, especially Arab countries, including Algeria and facing a decrease in feeling of belonging that has become characteristic of members of the community, especially young people, It has become necessary to reopen the debate on a series of concepts and values related to identity and elements of the nation, including nationalism, citizenship and belonging as components of a good citizen.

But also to clarify the difference between them, especially since they have become known to overlap in great use, and also many researchers use the concepts of patriotism and citizenship in tandem to designate a only meaning.

The importance of this article is to undo this confusion and highlight the most important mechanisms adopted to instill these feelings in future generations, hoping that they will be reflected in their relationships with their country.
