Sterility is a biological phenomenon and a medical condition related to one of the spouse or both.

it has been introduced to humanity centuries ago, as it was mentioned in holly books and has been covered by myriad researches.

it is considered, in some societies, as a lack of man's virility and as woman's inability to procreate.

on account of sterility, fatherhood’s along with motherhood’s feelings grow and the human race continues.

thus, it demands a medical intervention or a psychological care or both, while other patients may seek traditional treatments that are considered as a cultural reality.

this study aims at knowing the objective causes of sterility as well as woman’s explanations of this phenomenon under a sociocultural reality.

also, to know the relation of these explanations with treatment process together with the extant of sterility’s influence on the sexual health, marriage bound and the socio-psychological aspect of woman specifically, who is more affected by this issue than man.
