Abstract EN

The current study aims to shed light on the most important problems that the learner encounters during the educational process and prevent him from achieving the element of positive reception, which is the issue of term building in general and the scientific term in particular directed to primary school learners.

Through this study, the search for the extent to which the functional deliberative dimension was achieved in the scientific terms transmitted in educational documents was conducted by focusing on the textbooks for the third and fourth years of primary school, relying on the descriptive analytical method.

The study concluded that the scientific term in the initial phase fulfills the deliberative-functional condition to a large extent through its derivational and syntactic appearance.
