Compensation for medicines represents the most in-kind performance of the Social Security Fund’s funds as a result of the comprehensive compensation policy, the expansion of the use of the recovery card, the increase in the incidence of chronic diseases and the phenomenon of aging, and with the decline in the quality of funding sources, reviewing the drug compensation policy has become an imperative.

We aim through the research paper to shed light on the factors of increasing the fund's expenditures in this section and the ways to reduce them in order to maintain the sustainability of the social security facility in providing various in-kind payments in a manner that preserves its financial balance.
