Judicial specialization is one of the important mechanisms needed to enhance the readiness and effectiveness of justice in reducing crimes related to information and communication technologies.

in recognition of this, the Algerian legislator has created a national penal pole that specializes in combating these crimes, with a distinct competence that combines an unfamilia.

qualitative jurisdiction in general rules and a broad territorial jurisdiction covering all national territory.

this study, therefore, aims to analyze and describe the rules of competence of this newly established pole and its working mechanisms and importance in increasing the effectiveness of the judiciary body in reducing crimes related to information and communication technologies, as well as to identify the most important procedural gaps that diminish its effectiveness.
