There is today's agreement that corruption no longer excludes a particular system, where we find it in democratic systems, as in central systems and defined by developed and underdeveloped societies, and it is worsening to the point where it threatens many societies with collapse, as expressed by former Secretary-General of the United Nations Kofi Annan in 2003: "Corruption has become an epidemic that threatens human societies with widespread sweep and has become a real threat to democracy and the rule of law.

"In the State, the public administration has many functions, which may lead to a deviation from its normal course.

This leads to an imbalance in the functions of the State, and in order to ensure that this does not happen, the public administration must be censored in order to safeguard the public interest on the one hand, Avoiding deviations that may occur, including administrative corruption.

In this context, this article addresses the problem of combating corruption in Algeria through the system of oversight of public administration, with a view to identifying the most important institutional and procedural mechanisms highlighting oversight of public administration in order to combat corruption.
