This study aims to highlight the nature and importance of marine insurance and know the reality of marine insurance in Algeria, in addition to highlighting the extent of the contribution of marine insurance to the development of maritime transport during the period (2010-2018).

Algeria and that the Algerian maritime transport is in constant development, through the movement of various goods and merchandise of different sizes through maritime transport, as well as people, and this is due to the diversity in the insurance services provided in maritime transport.
