Abstract EN

This paper examines the reality of the development that occurred to covering the body as a social phenomenon related explicitly to the jilbab dress in Algerian society.

the latter is mixed with many physical techniques and behaviors, referring to the jilbab with specific Islamic culture standards.

besides, the jilbab conception witnessed a set of transformations that we consider in this study a religious culture that is weird to the Algerian Islamic community.

this current research aims as well at scrutinizing and modelling the behavior of jilbab wearing among Algerian women.

accordingly, we came up with several differences between the women of the studied sample regarding wearing the jilbab due to their geographical residence or sources from which they received the religion or even their convictions.
