Since the spread of the corona virus (COVID-19) in Wuhan (china), it has turned into one of the major challenges affecting the entire world.

in a relatively short time, the outbreak of the virus turned into a pandemic that led to enormous negative effects not only on the health and well-being of people, but also on the religious rituals and rituals of societies, especially the religious rituals of Arab countries, including Algeria.

this research paper aims to investigate the various effects of the corona virus on religious rituals and rituals, as well as the adaptation of peoples to this pandemic, especially from the religious point of view.

the paper provides an in-depth theoretical examination of the various aspects of the epidemic in religious rituals and rituals ; we found that this virus changed the course of the entire world, especially religious practices that greatly affected group prayer after the closure of all mosques, in addition to canceling the hajj season for the 2020 season, which the Islamic world had not witnessed for several centuries.
