Abstract EN

Through this research paper, we aim to clarify the role of the mosque institution as an official religious institution in preserving the Arab cultural identity, with its components that form the common core between Arab countries, and in order to achieve this goal we used the analytical approach, by presenting and analyzing information on the topic in order to reach the required results.

The research concluded that the institution of the mosque, through its social position, as well as the various functions it performs, has a great role in consolidating the components of the Arab cultural identity, and works to strengthen the unity of the Arab nation, and this function is not only social, but also divine, supported and clarified by religious texts and Islamic belief in its various sources.
