teaching and learning the language and using it in an optimal way is the essence of nature and value our view of it, if our view was comprehensive of its functions and branches, its goals came at the level of our aspirations, and perhaps the approach of the curriculum designers in adopting the approach with competencies is what determines the basic elements upon which the teaching of the Arabic language is built in the Algerian educational system.

we have discussed in our research the learning of the Arabic language in the light of the competencies approach by choosing the textual approach as a systematic choice the most important findings of it that the language is indivisible and the professors must change the traditional pedagogical practices by adopting modern practices in the teaching of languages in general and the Arabic language in particular.
