Abstract EN

The study aimed to analyze the impact of the construction and public works sector on unemployment in Algeria, through empirical modeling of annual data for the period (1990-2018), The study used Auto Regressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model, the findings dictate a positive relationship between the unemployment rate and the percentage of the construction and public works sector contribution to the gross domestic product outside Hydrocarbon sector and the exchange rate, Additionally, the study found a negative relationship between unemployment rate and oil price .
