Abstract EN

This study aimed to clarify the role played by electronic payment methods in Algeria during the liquidity crisis after the covid-19 pandemic.

we relied on the descriptive approach to identify the various concepts related to the subject and the analytical approach to study the role of the gold card for Algeria post during the liquidity crisis.

we reached a set of results, perhaps the most important of which is that the covid-19 crisis contributed to spreading electronic awareness in Algeria, which led to an increase in transactions with the golden card and contributed to alleviating the severity of the crisis that stifled postal and banking institutions in Algeria.
