International e-commerce contracts raise many problems within the framework of private international law, and the most important of those problems related to the protection of the electronic consumer, as it is natural for disputes to arise between the parties to these contracts, of which the consumer is one of the parties, and because it represents the weak party who needs protection as a goal not only at the level of the rules of legislative jurisdiction, but also extending to the rules of international jurisdiction, where the competent court is determined to adjudicate what these contracts generate in terms of disputes according to controls aimed at protecting consumers, which are different from those used for the rest of the contracts in general.

this protection has been codified in accordance with international agreements in the field of international jurisdiction.
