Abstract EN

The study aimed to find out the effect of a proposed training program for therapeutic exercises for patients with herniated disc to improve some physical characteristics and physiological variables.

This study was conducted on (40) patients who were chosen intentionally using the experimental method and as tools for the study, a set of physical tests were relied on to measure the flexibility of the spine forward.

And behind, the axial range of motion of the right and left lumbar region and the strength of the lower back muscles before and after implementing the program for the control and experimental samples, and then comparing the results.

The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the variables under study for both groups, and the results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the averages of the dimensional measurements between the two groups and in favor of the experimental group after three months, and the data were statistically processed using the SPSS statistical program suffering from lumbar disc herniation.

Transferring them to the Physiotherapy Unit, Department of Physiotherapy, Ghout Al-Shaal Specialized Hospital, where they were divided into two groups, the first control and the second experimental, who were treated using a program of therapeutic exercises for a period of three months, and to know the effect of the rehabilitation program
