Abstract EN

This study aimed to analyze and evaluate intra-trade in the GCC countries in light of their economic integration, during the period (2000-2018).

The results of the study indicate low levels of intra-trade, This is based on the fact that there has been some improvement since the start of the establishment of the customs union in 2003, but yhe ration of its contribution, which are far apart from each member, do not rise to what represents trade links to an economic bloc or supports the foudation of its economic integration.

After 2010, the fragiliy of integration and the beginning of disintegration among the members of the Council appeared, and the escalation continued until it left a rift in the structure of the bloc, which negatively affected the inter-trade relation.
