The safeguarding and employment of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) faces various challenges.

one of the main among them is its nature, as it is a living, changing, and adaptive heritage.

as for the most prominent challenges facing its employment, the fears that (ICH) will be trivialized or distorted products tending towards cheap dissemination.

the approach followed by the study is a descriptive approach depends on the presentation and analysis of information to reach mental results.

the axes of the study presented the concept of (ICH), its importance, the threats it faces, ways to preserve and revive it, then it presented the challenges facing its preservation and employment in the economic system.

the study concluded that the (ICH) is a living heritage whose nature requires to keep it in the state of life within its natural development.

it can also be employed in a number of economic activities such as tourism according to specific conditions.

the study included a number of recommendations related to the preservation and employment of the (ICH).
