This article attempts to shed light on the problems of safeguarding the intangible cultural heritage linked to the palm tree, after the commitments of the Tunisian state included in the two folders: "the palm tree: knowledge, know-how, traditions and practices" and "Sharfia fishing in Kerkennah islands" which are inscribed on the culturally representative list of intangible women on the cultural list.
