This study was devoted to revealing the impact of cultural representations of death and funeral rites on the ways to confront the corona virus in the village of Sidi Maaash in the city of Guelma, based on observation by coexistence and the use of newsmen, to monitor the most important popular behaviors in the face of the epidemic and analyze its implications, by relying on decoding the relationships between the perceptions of individuals and their representation.

the results of this study varied between emphasizing the role of the cultural aspect in the interaction of individuals with ways to prevent the virus, in addition to a clear presence of the role of each of the psychological and social sides in directing reactions during the spread of the epidemic, with the predominance of fear of the method of burial according to the protocol followed for corona victims more than concern about death in itself is due to the lack of respect for the health protocol of the cultural personality of the members of society, which is represented here in the element of funeral rites.
