Abstract EN

This research deals with the issues of the lexical industry in the book al-Dha'a by al-Maqdisi t 637 AH.

and he prompted me to write about it for a number of reasons, the most important of which is : I did not find anyone who studied it, and this is within the limits of my knowledge, and also the scientific value of this book in lexical studies.

and semantic, linguistic evidence, languages and dialects, and other things that we will stand on in this study.

its aim is to extract the issues of the lexical industry that are mentioned in the folds of the book and highlight its value and its importance in contemporary Arab lexical studies.

he also drew the attention of researchers to the need to pay attention to such small classifications and strive to uncover and disseminate them because of their characteristics, and the issues unique to them that we may not find a counterpart in the mothers of dictionaries.

the problem that this research deals with is : what are the features of the lexical industry in the book of al-Tha` by al-Maqdisi ? how can we benefit from it in the contemporary Arabic lexical industry ?.
