Abstract EN

The aim of the study is to highlight on the importance of activating the human dimension to achieve sustainable and comprehensive development for all people, by trying to understand and delve into the dialectic of the human-environment relationship, and how man, through the ages, has exercised the unjust exploitation of its resources to meet his growing needs to extend and control the world, leading to the destruction of environmental systems and disruption of the planet's vital balance and the emergence of serious ecological problems that threaten its stability and presence on Earth.

The study concluded by emphasizing the need to follow an effective strategy and strengthen international cooperation to address current environmental risks, adopt a global policy for environmental management whose primary goal is human being, and move towards humanizing sustainable development and taking it as a global issue that concerns all peoples.
