Abstract EN

This paper, titled : “Abasement and negligence of Children of Traditional Qur’anic schools (Al- Khilawi) in Northern Nigeria and Their Impact on the Child and Society”, aimed to control the concept of child abuse and negligence, their causes and the most prominent classifications in them at the environment of the traditional Qur’anic Katateeb (Al-Khallawi) in Northern Nigeria.

In its introduction, the introduction to the traditional Qur’anic Katateeb (Al-Khilawi), This was followed by the identification and study of highlighting the manifestations of child abuse patterns in this educational environment and their negligence, and the paper monitored some of the effects of this on the reality of the child and society, with an account of the most prominent contributions of some experiences of government institutions and charitable organizations in treating this phenomenon.

The study concluded with a conclusion in which came a set of recommendations, including: the need to raise awareness of the concept of negligence and abuse among parents of children, elders of Al-Khalawi and the community, with interest in reforming the environment of Quranic Katateeb (Al-Khalawi) and creating the conditions surrounding children in their education and educational environment so that they can absorb knowledge, experiences, form sound educational trends and correct educational behavior.
