Abstract EN

The argumentation in this era undoubtedly considered as one of the outputs of the deliberative theory, but this doesn’t mean that the argumentation branches are neglected in Arabic rhetoric, as it is shared by several sciences such as interpretation, theology, and the sciences of Qur'an, as well as we find its roots refer to the rhetoric in our Arabic heritage which was one of the most persuasive and effective tools in the audience after the poetry in pre-Islamic era.

this study deals with the efforts of the ancient Arab rhetoricians to detect the dimensions of the argumentative theory, particularly al-Djahid and the rhetoric theory, as well as what was stated in the rhetorical literature caring about status, the recipient and the speaker as an important elements to embody the persuasion strategy.
