This article focuses on the element of character in Ibrahim Saadi’s three novels (the rejected-in search of Amal al-Ghabrini-the man who came from darkness revealed) which is an important part in studying and analyzing the structure of the narrative.

such an element is the method by which the narrator introduces the characters of his fictional world.

novelists have three ways of introducing their characters (introducing them by the teller, by another character, or the self- introduced character).

the novelist does not have to use all techniques of character presentation at a time, he can use two methods or just only one, and this is what we will notice in the collection of novels under study.
