Abstract EN

The electronic payment card is consired a newly developed high-tech method of payment, characterized by a high demand by its customers in settling their financial transactions due to the ease of dealing with it, as well as protection from the risks of carrying cash.

But this card may be exposed to illegal attacks and uses that lose its credit confidence, and threaten its users, and be issued by the personsin the card transaction or from third parties.

The attacks may also result from the nature of this means, which is a financial service that takes place in an open environment such as the Internet.

We will trough this research to identify these attacks, issued by the card parties who are the holder, the issuer and we present the criminal penalties prescribed for it in Algerian legislation.
