Abstract EN

: Objective of the study Contemporary critical thought has witnessed an an unprecedented demand for the study of culture within a new historical methodogoy that control the prosperity and collapse of nations politically and socially considering that culture is inseparable from the historical conditions that people go through; Accordingly, this article aims to study the dialectical relationship between history and culture, by shedding light on the impact of the past on contemporary culture and his contribution to the hidden patterns, by following a culturally critical approach that fits with the vision of the Algerian thinker Abdel Majid Meziane.

This is because history is the guarantor of minimal identity, and it clarifies the roots of termnology and the origins of theories; Therefore, it became necessary to re – read history, analyze and interpret it, according to the vision of each generation of intellectuals, because it is the way for the nation to preserve its gains and activate its material and moral values.
