Abstract EN

This study aims to examine the impact of foreign exchange reserves on economic diversification in oil countries for the period (2000-2019), using the standard descriptive and analytical approach in addition to the standard statistical approach, which is the panel data models to estimate the function of the model, the three regression models were selected and differentiated through the fisher and houseman test, including four independent variables, and five oil countries.

the study found that the fixed effects model is the most appropriate model for the study and the relationship of impact, and that there is a negative impact of foreign exchange reserves on economic diversification, and therefore the need to direct and manage reserves towards supporting value-added sectors and investing in human capital and modern technology.
