We find the Arabic novel that depicts a binary conflict of the ego and the other as a permanent civilizational struggle, as a binary of control and tension.

That is why our research paper focused on researching the merits of the other in the two novels “Season of Migration to the North” by Tayeb Salih and " plant in desert” by Fethiye al-Bataa, as they represent a field for confrontation and dissolution.

What is between our emigration to the other, and our resistance to the displacement of the other to us, so the movement of the other is determined according to the philosophy of confrontation with which we resist Western thought.
