This study aims to demonstrate the impact of the Covid-19 virus outbreak on international tourism by analyzing the official statistics issued by the World Tourism Organization for the period following the outbreak of the pandemic (2020-2021).

The study concluded that the international tourism did not witness a similar damage, despite the many tremors it experienced previously, And that the losses he incurred were much greater than the expectations of the competent authorities at the beginning of the health crisis, which makes it difficult for the sector to recover quickly.
