Abstract EN

The study aimed to uncover the effect of Islamic education curricula on developing the values of citizenship among students and achieving community security and clarifying the relationship between them, if any, from the point of view of Islamic education teachers in public education schools in the Sultanate of Oman.

the researcher used the descriptive approach and used the questionnaire as a research tool.

the effect of Islamic education curricula in developing citizenship values according to the estimates of the study sample is large, while its impact on achieving community security came at a medium level.

the results also revealed a high positive correlation between the impact of Islamic education curricula on developing citizenship values and achieving community security according to Pearson correlation coefficient.
