In language, there are a big number of styles, which differ according to the message speakers try to convey to a listener.

decoding the message needs a competence helping the listener to link both of words and received expressions to the situational contexts.

sometimes, the listener should avoid literal significance and look for implicature.

but how can we move from literal significance to implicature ? what are the conditions ? in the present paper, we will discuss and analyze these two questions in the Nawawi s forty hadiths.
