Abstract EN

This study aims to clarify the indirect impact of "the participation of managers in the management control process" on "the quality provided of the health service ", through the positive effect on "managerial performance.

" The results obtained are interesting on more than one level.

From an academic point of view, they allow the inclusion of the variable “participation of managers in management control” in behavioral models for management control.

On the administrative side, they push officials to pay more attention to improving and developing this participation.

The survey that we conducted at the level of public health institutions in Algeria demonstrated that this participation takes place through two basic dimensions: the transmission and interpretation of information to management supervisors, and the incorporation of management control contributions into the daily work of managers.
