The research deals with the impact of contagious diseases on the performance of the pilgrimage, by introducing the contagious disease and its types, and the ruling on the hajj of a patient with a contagious disease, and the ruling on preventing him from performing the pilgrimage to the sacred house of god.

the research concluded that Islamic law considered self-preservation a priority of the sacred law, and it came with measures that protect Muslims from infectious diseases, and worked to prevent their spread among the masses of people; for this reason, we find that it is forbidden for the carrier of the contagious disease to perform hajj while carrying the contagious disease, even though its purpose is praiseworthy and beloved by sharia, which is to perform one of the pillars of Islam, which is the pilgrimage to the sacred house of god.

an infectious disease spreads in them from coming to the holy places; this is for fear of the spread of the contagious disease, and its transmission among Muslims during the performance of the rites of Hajj.
