This article aims to study village initiatives in the wilaya of Tizi-Ouzou in terms of the emergence of sustainable dynamics.
In a territorial approach, the analysis of semi-structured interviews conducted with local stakeholders, highlights two predominant factors that determine sustainable village dynamics.
Indeed, the spirit of solidarity that founds the Kabyle society and the encouragement through the competition of the cleanest village, have made it possible to achieve certain sustainable development objectives as recommended in the local Agenda 21.
However, the absence of a real public policy, combined with financial difficulties, constitute the major constraints for achieving sustainable territorial development.

Cet article a pour objectif d'étudier les initiatives villageoises, de la wilaya de Tizi-Ouzou, en matière d'émergence des dynamiques durables.
Dans une approche territoriale, l'analyse des entretiens semi-directifs conduits auprès des acteurs locaux, fait ressortir deux facteurs prépondérants qui déterminent les dynamiques durables villageoises.
En effet, l'esprit de solidarité qui fonde la société kabyle et l'incitation par le concours du village le plus propre, ont permis d'atteindre certains objectifs de développement durable tel que recommandés dans l'agenda 21 local.
Cependant, l'absence d'une véritable politique publique conjuguée aux difficultés financières, constituent les contraintes majeurs pour atteindre un développement durable territorialisé.
