the period which falls after divorce is considered the hardest upon the ex-couples.

Some issues of disagreement may increase during that period.

Those issues may expand to include "raj'ah" ; ( a fixed period of time during which the husband has the right to get back his wife after the first and second divorce but not the third ) , particularly when the husband wants to get his wife back but she does not.

Other examples of disagreement may arise when the wife denies that her husband decided to get her back during "raj'ah" , or when she claims that the time of "raj'ah" is up.

The husband ,in turn, may deny the expiration of "raj'ah" and insist that he had decided to get his wife back before "raj'ah" expired.

The wife may decide to marry another man as she believes that "raj'ah" is expired.

This research highlights the issues of disagreement related to "raj'ah".

It aims to research the legal (Islamic) judgment which weighs the two sides of disagreement according to the legal evidences.

The different views of scholars are reviewed and compared.
