Since its establishment in 1945, the League of Arab States has placed Arab issues at the forefront of its concerns, and despite the weakness of the League at some stages, it has remained steadfast in its positions.

The Arab League condemned the Israeli attacks on Lebanon, whether the 1978 or 1982 invasion, especially the violations of Lebanese human rights by the Israeli occupation forces, and the siege imposed by those forces on the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

The League of Arab States, whether at the level of League envoys, meetings of Arab foreign ministers, or even in Arab summits, had a clear position in denouncing and denouncing the practices and crimes of the aggressor (Israeli) forces, whether against the Lebanese or the Palestinians.

The League was able with regard to the attacks on Lebanon with the resolutions of the United Nations and the Security Council and called for their implementation and implementation on the ground, rejecting all attempts to distort the image of the Palestinian resistance in Lebanon, stressing its right to defend itself and its just cause.
