Poultry is a main source of food for humans and an important pillar of the national income, whether in Iraq or the study area, with its white meat products and table eggs, which are sources of dietary protein for building the human body for the purpose of carrying out its various activities.

As well as organic fertilizers rich in the necessary elements to increase the fertility of the soil with the nutritional value of the plant Given the importance of poultry production, which is the subject of research in filling the urgent need of the population for these products, as a result of the increasing demand for them to increase population growth first, as well as the abundant economic returns and the possibility of marketing them to neighboring countries secondly, this importance has emerged clearly in the study of life factors and their impact on production Poultry because of its effective impact in reducing the amount of production as a result of the increase in the number of deaths, and then the inability to bridge the nutritional gap of poultry products.

The study took from the life factors affecting poultry farming in the province of Babil as a scientific problem through which it tries to show those factors represented by diseases and epidemics and their impact on the animals under study for the purpose of providing the appropriate environment for these animals or at least reducing the negative impact of these factors and thus promoting the development of the productivity of these animals from While addressing the life problems facing its breeding as a result of the increasing demand for its products of meat and eggs, as the study is summarized in three sections, the first section dealt with the study of projects specialized in raising poultry in the province of Babylon.

The second topic was concerned with the life factors related to poultry production in the province of Babylon, including dynastic improvement, diseases and epidemics and their types.
