The concept of citizenship has witnessed various changes in its content and its significances .it no longer means the direct relationship between the individual and the contry as it used to.

instead contry to what has been , i.e.

emphasizing on the individual, today, big importance is given to the concept of citizenship generally, john Locke had had an immense impact on the philosophical political thought, namely, the British one.

hence, in this research, we tackled the link between the individual and embodiment of citizenship in Locke's philosophy.

with the latter, anew meaning of citizenship appeared, a citizenship which respects the individual and speaks about his ∕her freedom, properties ...

etc, a citizenship which moved the individual from a theoreticol legal perspective into one which makes him ∕ her practice and practicipate in many activities that preserve his ∕ her status in the country.
