Abstract EN

The current research aims to reveal the causal relationship between academic emotion variables (pleasant and unpleasant), by using the path analysis method, one of the structural equation modeling methods.

among the measures of academic pleasant emotions represented by (academic hope, enjoyment of learning, and academic pride), while unpleasant academic emotions were represented by (academic boredom, academic anxiety, and shyness) according to Becron's theory.

the results of the research showed: the agreement of the two proposed theoretical models of academic emotions (pleasant and unpleasant) to the sample data, where the indicators of good fit were close to the ideal values.

the results of the research also showed the presence of direct effects between the research variables through standard and non-standard regression coefficients and standard error between academic anxiety as an (independent) variable and shyness (as a dependent variable) and academic boredom as a mediating variable among middle school students.
