Abstract EN

The research aimed to reveal the relationship of procedural knowledge methods and meta-memory skills among university students, as well as to identify the differences between them according to the gender variable (males-females).

procedural) which was prepared by (Kalotti et al., 1999) and expressed by (Khalaf, 2015), and (Meta-memory skills scale), which was prepared by (Troyer and Rich 2002) to measure meta-memory skills expressed by (Abu Ghazal 2007), the results of the search resulted in: • the university students are characterized by procedural knowledge methods.

• university students are characterized by skills beyond memory.

• males are characterized by separate knowledge more than females, while females are characterized by connected knowledge more than males.

• female respondents outperform males in meta-memory skills.

• there is a statistically significant relationship between procedural knowledge and meta-memory methods.

based on the research results, the researcher recommended some recommendations and suggestions.
