English Abstract
The effect of using YouTube in teaching the correct pronunciation skill of Arabic for students of kindergarten in Almazar the south directorate of education.
The study aimed to investigate the effect of using YouTube in teaching the correct pronunciation skill of Arabic for students of kindergarten in Almazar the south directorate of education.
In order to conduct the study, a quasiexperimental approach was used on two classes of Khawla Bint AlAzwar school which is a governmental school in Almazar the south directorate of education.
The sample of the study consisted of 43 children.
The sample was divided into two groups: an experimental group ; which studied using YouTube and a control group which studied using the normal method.
The number of children of the control group was 21 children and the number of children of the experimental group was 22 children.
After making sure that the tool used is valid, an observation card was used to measure the pronunciation skill.
Also, the appropriate statistical tools were used for this purpose.
The study found that there were differences which has a statistical significance at (a=0.05) between the averages of the two study groups performance on the observation card in favor of the experimental group, which was taught the Arabic language subject using YouTube.
The study recommended that there is a necessity to use YouTube in teaching the pronunciation skill of Arabic in kindergarten due to the huge amount of available videos that present the language in a funny and interesting way.
