Abstract EN

The study aimed to employ an electronic educational blog to learn science and to investigate its impact on academic achievement and creative thinking among seventh-grade students in Jordan.

the sample of the study consisted of (53) students from the seventh grade who were randomly divided into two groups, one of which was an experimental group consisting of (27) students who were taught using the e-learning blog, and the other group was a control consisting of (26) students who were taught using the regular method.

the study tools consisted of an electronic educational blog designed by the researcher, an achievement test, and a Torrance test for creative thinking, and the results of the study showed statistically significant differences between the average performance of students in the experimental and control groups on the post-achievement test and the Torrance test for creative thinking in favor of the experimental group.

the study recommended that science teachers should use e-learning blogs in the educational process.
