Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the role of kindergarten principals in the participation of teachers and mothers in educational decision-making in light of COVID-19 pandemic in Amman.

the study sample consisted of two categories : the first (248) public kindergarten teachers were selected using the stratified random sampling method, while the second category consisted of (124) mothers chosen by the simple cluster method.

in order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed two questionnaires; the first directed to female teachers including (17) paragraphs distributed on (3) fields, while the second questionnaire is directed to mothers including (14) paragraphs distributed on (3) fields.

the results of the study showed the following: the teachers’ estimates of the role of kindergarten principals in the participation of teachers in educational decision- making in light of COVID-19 pandemic were moderate, while the mothers' estimates of the role of kindergarten principals in mothers’ participation in educational decision-making in light of COVID-19 pandemic were low, and no significant statistical differences in teachers’ estimates of the role of kindergarten principals in the participation of teachers in educational decision-making in light of COVID-19 pandemic due to variables of educational experience and academic qualification.

in light of mentioned results, the researcher made a set of recommendations.
