Abstract EN

This study aimed to analyze final exam questions of the twelfth grade Islamic education subject in Palestine.

the researcher followed the descriptive and analytical approach, and he prepared an analysis tool that was applied to the final exam questions for the last three years (2018, 2019, 2020 AD).

the results revealed that the questions varied between the objectivity and the essay: the objectivity rates were (61.97%, 61.33%, 55%), and the essay rates (38.3%, 38.67%, 45%) in the three successive years.

the results also showed that all the final exams focused on the cognitive domain, neglecting the psychomotor and emotional fields.

in addition, the results showed that the examination questions focused on the lower four levels of the cognitive domain, and neglected the upper levels of it.

the results also showed that the exams did not abide by the specification schedule prepared for this purpose.

the study recommended the necessity of adhering to the specification table when preparing the final exams, on the condition that we focus on all levels, and called for other researchers to conduct and analyze the final exam questions and questions of Islamic education textbooks for the different academic stages.
