Abstract EN

This study aimed to explain the factors and conditions affecting the characteristics of individuals and the differences generated between them, according to the Islamic perception provided by Islamic psychology, and to compare all of that with the vision provided by modern psychology in its theories.

this study followed the inductive approach and the historical method in order to achieve its goals, conclusions : the report of Islamic psychology for a joint and interactive role for both genetics and the environment in the personality traits of the human being.

it also concluded that the Islamic tradition has dealt with aspects of genetic and environmental influences, and separated their statement in a unique way, and concluded that the results of modern psychology are consistent, judging the influence of each of genetics and the environment in behavior and personality traits with what Islam has brought about, and i concluded that the vision of Islamic psychology confirmed the position of the mind and personal choices.
