Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to identify the culture of dialogue among teachers of history departments, and the differences in the culture of dialogue according to the variables (gender, certificate, university).

the research was determined by the teachers of the history departments in the faculties of education in the universities of the middle Euphrates for the academic year (2021-2022), and the size of the research sample was (143) teachers, with (105) male and (38) female teachers.

from (32) items distributed over five domains, the apparent validity and the internal consistency of the scale were calculated, the discriminatory strength of the scale items, the correlation coefficients between the paragraph degree and the total degree of the scale, as well as the relationship of the paragraph degree with the degree of the domain to which it belongs, and the relationship of the field degree with the domains other, on the overall scale, and calculating the value of the scale’s stability coefficient using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient and retail halfway, and after applying the scale in its final form, the data was processed statistically.

a good level of dialogue culture, and the statistical method of triple variance analysis was used to verify the differences in dialogue culture according to the variables of gender, degree and university.

and the university and for the benefit of the university (Karbala, Kufa, Qadisiyah, Babylon, then Muthanna).

the two researchers recommended holding workshops by teachers of history to clarify the importance of the culture of dialogue in the university community, and suggested conducting a study to measure the culture of dialogue among teachers of other human specialties (such as geography, Arabic language and Quranic sciences).
